Welcome to psykhologist.com. This page sets out some basic terms for using this website, along with a few boundaries that matter to both of us. It is written plainly, to protect you and to keep the relationship between us clear.
The nature of the content
The information on this website (including articles, course descriptions, and FAQs) is for educational and informational purposes, meant to make mental health knowledge more approachable. This content does not constitute live counselling, psychological diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice for your individual situation. Everyone’s circumstances are unique, and general online information cannot replace a genuine one-on-one professional assessment.
Browsing does not create a counselling relationship
Browsing this website, filling in an enquiry form, or subscribing to a newsletter does not automatically form a counselling relationship. A formal counselling relationship is established only after both parties confirm an appointment and the first session begins.
This is not a crisis support service
Please note carefully: this website is not an emergency or crisis support service, and we cannot respond to urgent requests for help in real time.
If you or someone near you is in immediate danger, please call 999 right away.
If you are under heavy emotional stress and need someone to talk to right now, here are 24-hour emotional support hotlines in Hong Kong:

- The Samaritans (Chinese, English and other languages): 2896 0000

Reaching out for help is never weakness. It is one way of taking care of yourself.
